stirring the pot:

conversation and co-sensing

Rescheduled due to weather: February 28

6-8:30

Good Medicine Studio

How many of your most meaningful conversations have happened around the dinner table? This is the mood we’re going for with Stirring the Pot. I’ll provide a simple meal of soup, bread, and salad, and we'll explore pertinent themes emerging in the collective field. How can we use not only the mind but also but also the body and the heart to sense into the complexities of our time? Beginning with a brief meditation and check-in, we'll delve into monthly themes through relaxed collective inquiry. This gathering creates space to sense into our current reality and explore how to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives and respond thoughtfully to global challenges.

Featuring DJ Ka!

We will start low and slow, let the music lift and move us, shake it out, shake it through, and be delivered again, back to the earth. We’re tapping dance as a way to digest and integrate our lives, as well as a mode of self-expression and aliveness. We’re tapping dance as a somatic practice of relating and playing in and with the field. Moving together helps us access the alchemical magic of collective energy, releasing what is no longer serving, clearing these vessels, and welcoming in renewed lifeforce.

Sacred Nourishment: Practices for Connected Cooking & Eating

March 22

This sacred cooking experience offers a unique opportunity to deepen three essential connections: to ourselves through embodied practice, to each other through shared stories and collaborative creation, and to the earth through intimate engagement with seasonal ingredients. As we work with spring's first offerings, we'll attune ourselves to nature's rhythms and our own inner wisdom. Through mindful cooking practices, meditation, and shared stories, we'll deepen our relationship with food while creating beautiful, nourishing dishes that reflect the season's emergence. We’ll finish by sharing a meal together that we prepared.

Portal: A Journey through Sound

MArch 30

Join us for this immersive experience weaving together low frequency soundscapes, beauty-making, and shared presence.

DJ Bodie will take us on a journey through sound while Sabra creates a mandala in the center of our space. You are invited to rest, meditate, and bathe in the resonant frequencies. The evening will open with a brief check-in, we will pause together to take in the offering of the completed mandala and then we close by collectively deconstructing it, honoring the beauty and practice of impermanence.

April 12-13

2pm-1pm

An immersive journey of ritual, healing, connection and opening, both to ourselves and to the unseen world. The time will be largely oriented inwards, with opportunities for relationality and connection. Our container will be woven with altar building, curated music, living song and instrumentation, mandala making and deep internal exploration. We will bookend our time together with intention setting, shared reflection, and communion with the land.

This space will be co-held with my dear friend, Nev Levin. If you have further questions, please reach out to me via Signal: 646-338-0017, or email me at sabrasaperstein@gmail.com.
